Information we do not collect
Our calculators run entirely client-side. The blood types you select, and the results shown, are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. We have no way to see what you entered.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data such as pages viewed and approximate region. We use this only to understand which content is useful and to improve the site.
Advertising and cookies
We display advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info. Where required by law, we display a consent prompt before loading advertising or analytics cookies, and you can revisit your choices here: Privacy choices.
Google's use of data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR in the EEA/UK or CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, delete or restrict processing of personal data, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. Because we do not hold personal data about you directly, most requests are handled through the consent controls above. For anything else, contact us at contact@bloodtypecalc.com.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows the most recent revision. Questions can be sent via the contact page.
